Parish Life
Approximately once a month parishioners have the opportunity to gather together to have fun. Activities have included: dinner at a local restaurant, local hikes, game evenings, concert in the parish hall, etc. Please look at our calendar or our event schedule for more information.
The Trinity Episcopal Church Prayer Shawl Ministry was started in March of 2007. Prayer shawls and lap blankets are prayerfully knitted or crocheted to comfort those in need or to celebrate joyful events. Meetings are held approximately once a month at a knitter's home or at the parish hall; most of the knitting is done by members at their homes and on their own schedule. The shawls are blessed during Sunday worship before going to their recipient.
Prayer Chain
A group that prays for those in need.
Our Gathering Place
At the close of each school day Trinity welcomes high school students to the parish hall. Healthy snacks are provided.
My Brothers TableMy Brother's Table serves a hot meal to all who come to Trinity Episcopal Church Parish hall on Sundays between 1:30 and 2:30pm. In 2007 we averaged 52 meals per Sunday, plus second helpings for all who desired them. Bags of food to be taken home are also given out.
This program started approximately 25 years ago, and is the only hot meal offered to all on Sunday.
Through Trinity Church members organize and oversee the ministry, and Trinity Church donates the space, kitchen facilities, and energy, it is truly a community outreach program. Volunteer teams of four or more prepare, serve, and clean up each Sunday. Groups are from other area churches, organizations, and businesses. Food and monetary donations come from both within and outside our parish as well as from FEMA grant.
For more information or to volunteer, please email the church at trinity@trinitypocatello.org.
